Brief: How to... (evaluation)

How to... live with people you don't like.

What role(s)did i take on in the group?
I came up with the basic idea of a tea set which was then developed into the final resolution. All group members had an input on the graphics of the packaging and i wrote the guidelines for the presentation.

How well do i think i performed in those role(s)?
I feel pleased with my performance in the roles i undertook. The idea turned out to be a successful one, the product was recieved well and the presentation went smoothly.

How well do i think we worked as a group?
Early on in the task the group struggled to nail down an idea and as a result cracks occured in the group. Once the tea set idea was agreed by the majority of the group progress was made much more rapidly and as the idea developed the group eventually became more united.

What were the positives of working in a group?
I found that problems tended to be solved much quicker within a group environment and as we managed to delegate roles effectivley we achieved more within the week than i thought we would.

What were the negatives of working in a group?
The main negative i found in the group was in overcoming the negativity of others.

What will i do differently next time?
I would try to have the group agree quicker upon an idea so that the time management could be improved whilst encouraging people to air honest opinons early on so that issues can be resolved.

Where could the resolution have been improved?
I was very pleased with the final resoulution we produced - especially considering the time scale we had to work with. Any extra time would have been spent adding finer details to the product to give a more professional appearance.

What were the strengths of our presentation?
The main strengths of our presentation were the interactivity (giving out cups of tea) as well as a clear and concise explanation of our ideas and processess.
